Each haircut comes with a shampoo, either before or after the cut. (customers' preference)
Ward's Barber Shop is a "traditional" barber shop. In years gone by, the barber shop was a place to relax, talk, play checkers, and read the newspaper. You could even get a haircut and shave if you wanted.
In recent times, barbering and cosmetology have begun a merging process. In addition to barbering skills (haircutting and shaving), barbers now have to know all that a cosmetologist knows, chemical services and hair coloring, plus the art of shaving. Although I learned everything I needed for my license, the traditional skills of haircutting and shaving are my main focus.
HOURS
Walk-in hours are Mondays: 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., all other hours by appointment.
I have always been about service to my customers, so appointment times are as follows: Whenever it is convenient for you!
I work at Carson Long Military Institute Tues, Weds, Thurs, from 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. All other times are open for appointments, early or late. Saturday mornings are also available.
BLADE SHARPENING
Certified, Professional Shear sharpening.
Most shears sharpened - $15.00
In addition to hair shears, I sharpen all types of shears from small to sewing shears. Also knives from the wife's cutlery to that hunting or fishing knife. Price will increase if your shears require new parts.
